Wellington
When are you moving, or have you moved already? If you haven't, I'll see what I can find out.

One choice AFAIK
Its either DSL (Qwest) or nothing. I almost moved to Wellington, but the idea of having no real options for high speed turned me off. That and I rely on high speed i-net for my job. I moved to Ft Collins instead to have more options. I really dont know why Comcast doesn't have a presense in Wellington yet. Its only 5 or so miles outside Ft Collins city limits...

High Speed Internet in Wellington
Unbeknownst to many people in Wellington, there are at least two companies that offer high speed internet for rural Wellington, CO - Colorado Wisp and Packet Masters. They both use long range radios to reach rural areas where DSL and cable are not an option.
In some areas, DSL and cable are available. It would all depend where you live.

We just moved to Wellington, just outside of city limits to the east. We signed up with LP broadband for both phone (VOIP) and internet. Their service has been great - even through the storms. They are located in Loveland. Good luck!

Welllington, Co?
Where is Wellington compared to F. Collins? As in how far, miles-wise and topography, demographic-wise (compared to FC)? Thanks!

13 miles North and East on the other side of I25 from Fort Collins, mostly a bedroom community without much commercial activity.
Drier, Windier, prairie, much more exposed than Fort Collins. Views of the mountains to the west, of course.
Used to be mostly ranching/dryland farming area. Being sudbivided up with the housing pressures in the Fort Collins area.

thanks sunsprit...
but, what is a bedroom community?
Also, does Wellington have local shopping like Walmart, Target, grocery stores, dr's offices, etc? Or, do you have to commute to FC for shopping, etc?
Is it/would it be a nice area to live in?
