There are several beautiful older areas that are close to old town. You can look on roads like Mountain Ave, Laporte Ave, In the area of Mulberry and College and several more. Many people are fixing up houses in these areas and making a fortune on them. If you buy one that has already been remodeled you can spend a lot of money. If you do not mind putting a little work into one yourself you can find a pretty good deal. There is really a pretty wide range of prices in these areas. There are several other well developed areas of the city that may be a little cheaper. Is there a particular side of town you are interested in? How about a price range? And how big of a house are you looking at?
