We may be relocating to Fort Collins area for my husbands job in the next year or two. Currently we live in a great Family neighborhood in NC and my kids play outside with the kids in our neighborhood and it is very safe. Good schools, neighborhood pool, tennis etc.
I want to find a similar place in FC. We want a single family home in the 400K range. Anything near a golf course would be great too... Can anyone name any subdivisions in FC that may be suitable for us?
We are planning on visiting this summer.... I have heard nothing but good things about Fort Collins...
THANKS!

You will defiately want to look at S.E. neighborhoods. I can't stand it there because I'm a single guy, but young familys with kids and parks galore. Stay away from old-town and the north side. ( Retired or students. Also, if you want to be a few minutes out of town and don't mind a bit of a drive, check out Water Valley in Windsor. The town doesn't offer a lot, but the community of a few hundred homes has quite a bit going on.

we have 3 kids and are looking to relocate as well. I have narrowed my search to Fossil Creek, Huntington Hills and Willow Springs. I am visiting for the second time this week to narrow my search. Good luck, I like it there a lot.

The town has grown primarily south in the past several years, so the neighborhoods with pools are mostly located in the south part of town. Also, there are two city owned golf courses, Collindale, and Southridge Greens, located in the south-east part of town. Additionally, located farther south-east in the area in which Windsor, Fort Collins and Loveland connect, the Highland Meadows and Ptarmigan golf courses can be found. On the north-east side of town, you will find the Country Club, Link-n-Greens and Mountain Vista golf courses.

Subdivisions with neighborhood pools include Observatory Village, Westfield Park, Harvest, Fossil Lake Ranch, Huntington Hills, Willow Springs, Highland Meadows, Ridgewood Hills, Registry Ridge, Stetson Creek, Collindale, and Hearthfire.
