Hi. Im a 36 yo gay male looking at Ft Lauderdale as a possible new home. I was there with my boyfriend in May and we really liked it and were surprised how gay friendly it seemed to be. We felt totally comfortable being together in public along the strip. Im not really into the club or bar scene, but i do like to go out on occasion. Im mainly looking to live somewhere liberal where it is easy to meet guys and settle down. Im not looking for anything high profile and over the top. The weather is definitely a big + as is access to the beach. Im also looking at Columbus here locally in Ohio (im in Dayton) and Chicago. I work in the financial industry and make middle class income $45kish. Any thoughts on life in the area for a middle aged gay man would be appreciated!

Default Thanks

Thank you I will check those out. I visited Wilton Manors when I was there in May and liked it. The other neighborhood I didnt know about. If it is near the shopping on St. Olas I liked that area too.
