Default what are the good and safe zipcodes in ft lauderdale?

I am on realtor.com and so many areas keep coming up as ft lauderdale...even mine, which is plantation...i often get mail that says ft lauderdale..I know someone who lives in ft lauderdale itself and she said she lives in a very nice area but not sure where...i guess i am under the impression that most of the areas in ft lauderdale (well the ones that are safe) are really really pricy.

Which zips in ft lauderdale and vicinity are good ones...zip codes are easier for me to go by because when I am doing a search, it keeps asking me what zip codes I want to include in my search.

Thanks!

I have only lived here for two months - but I did extensive research before choosing the place to live. 33305 is pretty good - from Wilton Mannors all the way to the ocean is pretty good. Also - 33308 is good from Federal Highway to the ocean (I believe this includes all of Lauderdale by the Sea- which is a really neat place)

I was gonna say the exact same two!! Ive lived in 33305 which was a great neighborhood! (Called Poinsettia Heights, right near Wilton Manors) and also 33308, which was on the SE corner of Oakland Park Blvd and A1A, in the condos right across from Shooters along the intracoastal. Both places I felt very safe. Hope this helps!

Basically you want to stay as close to the beach as possible or look into west Broward, Davie, Plantation, and Weston.

Try around 33315 the Croissant park area. Close to everything. do google a street view, it is pretty nice family area.
