It seems no matter where I go in Broward I tend to be served a "mini selection" of jerk chicken (or any meat) surrounded by tons of rice. This includes Donna's in Plantation which is good but who needs all that rice.

Excuse me but I came for the chicken.

Any recommendations of Broward hole in the walls where the meat will be more plentiful?

TIA knowlegable folks!

Aunt Is used to be the business. Not sure if it is still good or not. Have not been in a LONG time.

have you been to Chalan on S. Beach? How does that compare to La Perla (IF you have been to Chalan.)

Carl's Seafood and Jamaican Cuisine on Oakland Park is very good - fantastic lunch menu - lots of food for the price.

About Aunt I's, there are now two locations that I know of. The original on 441 and Ives Dairy Road and the location in Pembroke Pines on Pines Boulevard. The Pembroke Pines location is very good and they make the best carrot juice.

Fingerlickin' Bakery good for soup and great patties - food is Ok.

There is also another restaurant on Pembroke Road and Palm Avenue in Pembroke Pines, behind the CVS on that corner. They give a good portion of Jerk Chicken and they have a $2.99 special all the time - sorry I can't remember their name.

Warning - it was years ago but someone at Aunt I's used our credit card and made fraudulent charges. They were stupid enough to use it there, in addition to other places. Idiots.
