any views on this location?

You play golf? Then you'll love it, but I've gotta warn you it's not cheap. You also have the Gulfstream casino/racetrack and the Mardi Gras casino close by. Hollywood Beach boardwalk is also very close (the beach in Hallandale itself is not the best). Just try to drive at the speed limit and in the right lane on the major roads, as we locals get impatient and we're not all on vacation, and otherwise it really does create a dangerous situation for all.

Check out nearby Hollywood Beach as the other post mentioned. There's more to do, it has a nicer beach (boardwalk) and you'll run into quite a number of Canadians as well!

Hallandale is okay. Hollywood is better.
