We're considering a move from our hometown in Cleveland OH suburbs for a great opportunity in Miramar. We have 3 young kids (oldest to start kindergarten next fall). We're both professionals and we can afford ~$700K for 5bdr home. Most important is safe neighborhood and GREAT school (even if we have to pay tuition---though used to excellent public schools in ohio)--prefer to minimize commute to <25min and have nice outdoor areas for walking/ parks and other young families---

I live in Miramar it's a nice area! I live off of Miramar Parkway/University Drive but, for what your looking for I suggest Monarch Lakes and Silver Lakes which Pembroke Pines/Miramar area for housing and schools. Not that many 5 beds in the area I live in mostly 3's & 4's. Just to let you know in this area of Broward County it's very diverse but it's mosty Black-American, Jamaican, Haitian, other islands, and Asians. Schools to look for are:Coconut Palm Ele, Silver Lakes Ele, Dolphin Bay Ele, and Sunset Lakes Ele.

Check out Cooper City, good schools, houses with 5 bedrooms in your price range for sure. One of our neighbors commutes to Miramar and loves her commute. We just moved from MD. Good Luck.

Weston by far in that price range. Plantation for more house-but you"ll have to do private school (even though you can get all the house you need in Weston IMO in that budget).
