Fuave-

That is awesome. Do you go out with your husband? Have you ever been to Yolo?

Yes, tonight we were at Sushi Rock. We tried to get into Rocco Taco's but there was an hour wait (on a Tuesday!) We've walked by Yolo a number of times, and people have told us to go, but the place confuses me...I get really strong Happy Hour vibes (no matter what time!) How's the food?

Food is very good. The bar-going crowd tends to be ages 27-45 on average. There is an outdoor bar area, indoor restaurant, and also a separate indoor bar room that has a dance floor and couches. Yes you can go just about anytime. Weeknights are good there typically for happy hours and into the evening. Also, there is a newer place next door called Vibe with a similar setup.

I really want to get down there to Las Olas. Hoping to be one of those cliche people who moves from Jersey to Fort Lauderdale that you all love.

Las Olas to me has a similar feel to a small, southern college town. The mix of bars is very laid back. Yolo and Vibe are exceptions sort of. But I like the overall mix of things to do in Las Olas.
