Default Heron bay or Parkland golf & country club?

Which community is best for a young family Heron bay or Parkland golf & country club?

I prefer Heron Bay. Parkland GCC has too many homes with Chinese dry wall and their HOA dues are much higher than Heron Bay.

I know a few people who moved from Parkland Golf to Heron Bay due to the very high HOA fees (over $600 per month). Now Parkland Golf is being developed again by Toll Brothers I expect things to improve for homeowners there.
Parkland Golf has beautiful landscaping and is much more upscale, while Heron Bay has a range of home sizes & styles. It would really depend on your budget and what you are looking for.

Heron Bay is more established. Parkland G & CC was recently in the news. There was an article in the Sun Sentinel last week, "Developer's Plans for Parkland causes concern among residents," you may want to check out: Developer' plans for Parkland causes concern among residents - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com
