Are there such things as local travel agents having very reduced pricing on last minute / short notice Cruises to fill unsold rooms? If so could you let me know who they are.

Thanks, Ed....

Jimmy,

I know Carmen and Mike. I work for the same company. Tell them Tracey from the Weston store says "hello"! BTW, I DM'd the poster this morning before I saw your post. Haven't heard anything. Maybe he'll call Carmen.

Call the cruise lines. Directly you dont need a travel agent I know u can get on the Carnival Destiny for a great price its a 5 day cruise out of Miami, or you can do the NCL SKY we were on that in 09 it was 3 nights...or the Carnival Imagination they do 3 and 4 day...they need to fill the ships and sometimes last minute deals are the best

Have Fun

I am going to have to disagree with swimmom. Let me first disclose that I am a Cruise Specialist. You save no money by calling the cruise lines. In fact for cruising, the best option would be to contact a Cruise Specialist. Our primary focus is cruising and know how to obtain the "last minute" deals. A Cruise Specialist may also have prices that the cruise line cannot offer due to locked in pricing that the agency has the ability to obtain. Cruise lines only deal with going rates. Let the Cruise Specialist do the work for you at no extra cost. They will check every line and every price option, and quite possibly have amenities and promotions that the lines are not offering. Hope this helps!
