Just finding out about the beautiful Hillsboro Mile Beach, FL location which runs for 3 miles. Would like some information on this area before buying an oceanfront/inter coastal condo there. Pros and cons would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Depending on the exact location there may be no immediate beach access (if this is important to you). Definite pros: gorgeous area. Cons: again, depending on the exact location, there may be no stores within walking distance. Do you know already where you are buying?

Thanks for responding. We are buying right on Hillsboro Mile overlooking both the intercoastal and beach and in walking distance th the Deerfield Beach Pier. Haven't scene it yet. Bought via the Internet since the price was right. Hope I like it.

I had a client who owns a co-op on Hillsboro Mile -- it is an older building but the location is fantastic -- she is literally just steps from the ocean -- maybe a couple of hundred yards. So beautiful and peaceful.

As far as websites, I would just google realtor.com and search for "Hillsboro Beach Real Estate." I just did a quick search and found 667 properties listed, ranging in price from $40,000 to $20 million (!!!!) Certainly appears there is a nice price range. You could even do the same for Deerfield Beach but I personally love Hillsboro Mile better -- very laid back and as everyone says "location, location, location." It's a nice address for a reason. Good luck to you!

thanks for info. We'll be down this summer for a visit . Staying in Deerfield. Hope to eventually spend winters there. We have been to Mesa 3 times but need to try the ocean before we commit to a purchase.
Cheers.
