Can anyone tell me the best way to find a nice townhome to rent (unfurnished for a year) in the Hollywood Beach area? I'm not interested in a high rise apartment or gated HOA community and I can pay around $1500 - $2000 a month. I currently live on the west coast of Florida and have been looking at the websites I know but haven't found anything. Any suggestions?

I'm from Hollywood and the reason you're not finding anything is because of the fact that area of the city was built out largely in the 1950s-1970s before the invention of "townhomes". You'll find only single family homes or condos (low rise and a few highrise), which would be your best bet. There also aren't any HOA communities for the same reason, there weren't any single family home communities that were built to be gated during that time period.
