Default Where's the nice houses on A1A?

Ok, I just blanked out... What area are the nice (badd a*s) homes on A1A, where the boats are parked accross the street, going north houses are on the beach on the right and boats, bay or canal is on the left? I know it's north of Deerfield? Is it right in Boca?

For the joggers, is there space to jog up there by the road? I am looking to change up some jogging this week vs Weston...

thanks

When you drive from Delray to Lake Worth it is like that. Driving north, large houses on the right, the inter-coastal with large boats on the left, and there is a nice walking path on the left, and most likely on the right in many places.

There are 3 areas in South FL that fit this description, all on A1A.

Hillsboro Mile- starts just north of the 14th Street Causeway in Pompano and goes north to Deerfield Beach. It is all houses on the right, boats on the left. That is the only part of Broward County like that. The rest is all built up with highrises.

Northern section of Miami Beach- around Sunny Isles, just south of the Broward County line.

Southern Palm Beach County- from Delray Beach to Lake Worth.

There is also a small strip like this in Dania Beach, but only a short stretch before it becomes all buildings. This is where they filmed several movies including a scene from 2 Fast 2 Furious where Ludacris uses jetskis with a bunch of hot girls.

None of those areas are great for jogging because the road is narrow and I don't think there are sidewalks in those sections. The more built up sections, such as Pompano Beach or Hollywood, are great areas for jogging along A1A.

I'm not sure what its called. Its a smaller strip at the very northern end of A1A in Miami Dade County before you cross into Broward. Once you cross into Broward (Hallandale Beach), it instantly becomes all tall highrises again.

I honestly feel that if you want a good, safe area to run, Lauderdale By The Seas and Pompano Beach are good areas. You can park your car on A1A around Commercial Blvd and run north to Atlantic Blvd. That is a good area.
