being that broward border's Miami-Dade-- There is a significant Hispanic population here, it's not gonna be hard to find a neighborhood that has hispanics lol

Try Miramar, Pembroke Pines, maybe Hollywood. I mean honestly, anywhere in Broward will have sizeable hispanic populations.

My question is why does the OP get a pass here ... if it was a non Hispanic white guy asking for a majority white non Hispanic area in Broward he would be crucified as a bigot .. the OP obviously read and writes in English so why would he / she ask for a majority Hispanic area in Broward ... Pembroke Pines and Weston probably have the largest Hispanic populations in Broward and in the case of the latter city they are mainly well to do professional Hispanics ... anyhow the OP should look in Dade County .... Hialeah and West Kendall sound more like what he is looking for .

He is looking to spend $80K on a house. I don't think Broward or Miami are going to be good places for him.

I agree, there is a double standard, and I have brought this up before in another thread. I see plenty of people asking where there is an area with lots (fill it in), and everyone wants to help and say nothing about it. But there have been a few times that when someone asks about a non-Hispanic white area, or a white area in general in any of states, or primarily white something else, and it gets met immediately with accusations of being a bigot, racism, speeches of how diversity is great, blah blah.

It is not just this, but many other things as well. An Asian family only wanting their kids to marry another Asian is called culture; a non-Hispanic white doing it is called racism.

I will be moving to South Florida next year, I am a man of Latino descent...I want to move to a city in Broward county with hispanics being the majority (I am not interested in Miami at this time)...I heard Pembroke Pines and Sunrise are like that ? Please give me some suggestions....
In a word, Hilaleah is where you want to be. Official language is Spanish, and I am not even kidding around. It's in Miami-Dade county though

There is a double standard when it comes to asking questions like that, you are absolutely right. Unfortunately, it's due to the historically racist attitudes against non-white people in this country. Please don't jump down my throat, I said historically. Whether or not those attitudes still exist is debatable. To add irony to the mix, the Latino population in south Florida tend to be a bit racists as well. Jus' sayin'

I would have barked just the same is it had been a non hispanic white person asking to live in a white majority area .... I just do not agree with with either side .... I would much rather ask for a diverse area with low crime , good schools and a certain income level irespective of ethncity or race .. Weston is a prime example of a city with many Hispanics ( at least 50% ) and income levels are high , as are educational levels and crime is low ... maybe it is just me but I do not care where anyone is from as long as they are good people .... anyhow class and education have much to do with it . I know some Hispanics are pretty bigoted towards black folk .... not sure about bigotry towards white folk though ... I knew many Hispanics in Weston that did not like the fact that many Anglos had moved and other Hispanics had moved in ..... well to do Hispanics see living among white non Hispanics as a status thing believe it or not .

I think the opposite, I do not think there is anything wrong with a person looking for a certain group to live around. I do not think it is racist for a person to want to live around others that they feel are similar to them, this does not mean they are racist towards others. People exhibit this trait in other areas of their life, such as the food they eat, people they associate with, and bars they go to, so I do not know why when it comes to a place to live, it should be different.

Ok .... I respect your view ..... I lived in a community in Valencia , CA that was lily white .... it was actually boring .. anyhow I prefer a little diversity myself as long as people assimilate and are good neighbors .
