AVOID S FLORIDA. Just check the city data demographics and crime stats. Anything north of West Palm Bch is greatly better. Everyone knows that the diverse blue areas are high crime, high taxes, poor schools, low property value with bankrupt governments. Its just not pc to say whats true!

I would agree with the last poster, except for the 10 minutes part. It takes a good 45 minutes to get from Pembroke Pines to Deerfield Beach. Broward County is very big and spread out. But he's correct that you're never more than a minute or two from a rougher area. Its not that any of these areas are so terrible, they are just rough. And many of the people who live there are into crime. A lot of drug related crime, home burglaries, etc.

Honestly, the rest of FL has similar problems though. Anyone who says to avoid South FL has their head up their you know what. I know people who live in SW FL, which is commonly thought to be a much safer area of FL, and they have major problems with home invasion burglaries. This is a problem throughout the state. It is not just a South FL thing.
