I prefer Fresh Market over the Whole Foods in Pines. I lived in No. Virginia for years where the whole foods there were awesome. Quite large, very clean geared towards the large work force, suburbanites, three piece suits, picking up there dinner or eating there in the many set aside areas for socializing. Some have an upstairs with a huge wine tasting room. So imagine my excitement while I waited for two years watching this be built. Ugh.

I will drag myself there sometimes; but my last time was it. The one in Pines has a food bar to take away cooked food. I was disgusted as I watched people, standing over the food bar sampling food from each pan. I was frozen, my jaw dropped. This isn't a food bar where you are suppose to sample for free. AND this one woman, it was obvious she wasn't sampling before she purchased, she didn't even have a styrofoam box to put food in. She was walkinng around with a fork and just sampling and standing there chewing. The people that go there are definitly ghetto.

It grossed me out.

Ew. I actually just came from there. It was way bigger and nicer than the one in Plantation, but meh. I'm actually from Austin, the home of Whole Foods, and I always went to the flagship store. It's hard for me to be impressed with other Whole Foods stores.

I was at Fresh Market earlier today and loved it. I wish it was bigger, but they had just what I was looking for.
