AZ has state tax, FL obviously doesn't... For this year I would have lived in AZ for 7 months and will be in FL for 5. Come tax time will I have to pay any state tax to AZ, or will I just be considered a FL resident and not need to pay it? Thanks

You have to file a tax return for Arizona. When we moved here from PA I filed a PA return for a partial year.

Sounds like you're self employed, you will have to pay AZ tax for whatever earned in AZ (usually that is taken out already unless you file 2 or more exemptions).

Nope, not self employed, but I do have money withheld from every paycheck in order to cover what I owe at the end of the year. I just found out that I pay an extra 4.25% of what I make to the state. Haven't figured out where it goes tho, haha. Terrible.
