I am a young woman late 20's looking to move to the Fort Lauderdale area. I am original from Palm Beach so I don't know the area to well. But I am looking for a 1B/1B my max for rent is $1,000. I really would prefer to stay somewhere safe, quiet and drama free area. I will be working nights so safety is a priority for me. I was thinking about the areas of Deerfield, Pompano Beach, Pembroke Pines like west of those areas. Any feedback will be helpful and greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

Weston? (since you mentioned Pembroke Pines) if you can find a 1/1

You will be hard pressed to find anything safer than Weston.

Doubt she will find any 1/1 for under $1,000 in Weston. Are you factoring in other costs for apt. like utilities and stuff because you need to add for that. In Weston cheapest rental for 1/1 you will find starts at $1,200 & goes up from there. Safer is true, but those cheaper rental apt complexes have their share of problems.

Good luck!

I agree. Weston and Pembroke Pines are expensive.

I would look in the Lauderdale Harbor, Victoria Park area or Colee Hammock. I have seen one bedrooms for that price for one bedrooms, very safe.

Fort Lauderdale is pretty expensive too unless you're in the ghetto areas. Maybe she should look in Port Royale. The rents there are typically right around $1000.
