And when you say western themed, what do you mean? like there are cowpeople just walking around in the streets or something?? Thank you so much for answering my questions up till now!

Well, there is a "Wild west" themed downtown area, you will see people riding their horses and "horse crossing" signs on the streets in many parts of the city, and the town has western themed signs. It also has it's own rodeo ground.
Sunshine Ranches and Southwest Ranches are also somewhat what you are looking for. A lot of people building McMansions, but there is some southernness left. The schools in this area are zoned for Weston or Cooper City, which are generally even better than Davie schools.

So then you think thos places are pretty much the same as Davie then? Oh and one more thing I promise! hopefully!! haha. This may sound silly but when you are at a resteraunt in Davie, or at Mcdonald's or burger king, or anywhere where you eat food publicly there, can you order sweet tea or will they have sweet tea dispensers out near the drinks? Trust me it's important! I have a vice with sweet tea!!

I would say that those entire areas are the same as the "parts" of Davie I mentioned.
Well as a yankee, I must say that I haven't noticed about the sweet tea . But it doesn't sound silly to me at all. Although at Mickey D's one time I noticed a sweet tea dispenser .

Ok one more thing I know what I said but it's tru this time!!
So does development continue over there? Is it quickly changing, and becoming developed and conominiumized, (With dumb names like: The Chateus at Davie-vista) Or does the government and the people want to keep their somewhat country western theme and prevent the development from happening?

The people DEFINITELY want it preserved. But, there has been some development. And I don't mind the questions at all .
For one, check out this article.
Davie devoted to its open spaces - 12/02/2007 - MiamiHerald.com (broken link)
For another, there are smaller McMansion communities popping up with such names as "Long Lakes Ranches" and "BlackHawk Ranches". But for the most part, the development is over.

The boundaries in Pembroke Pines, Davie, Cooper City, Sunshine Ranches and Southwest Ranches are bizarre. You can literally be in a different city just by crossing the street. Boundaries became skewed when Sunshine and South West Ranches broke off from Pembroke Pines and became their own city. I think collectively they fall under South West Ranches as a city. The southern part of Davie rest within the boundaries of South West Ranches. I think some of these boundaries were created to protect the richer home owners in the Ranches. The Ranches typically have large acre estates. Many older homes and farms have been torn down and re-built into large mansion. The Davie homes within this enclave are smaller and more middle class, but still rather prices, because they have more land than most homes in South Florida including homes in upscale neighborhoods like Weston. To those of use who grew up in South Florida, South West Broward and Davie in particular was always viewed as the more southern or redneck area, because it was all farm land. While there are still pockets of old farms in the area; things have dramatically changed the last 15 years. This entire area is considered upscale. People may not own farms anymore, but they own horses. I guess you can say this is horse country. Even home owners with only an acre will own a horse. Old downtown Davie tries to keep that "Western / Southern" theme alive. They have rodeos and a country western bar, but it’s more quaint than reality. South West Broward is full of millionaires and professionals. There are a few old timers still left, but they are in the minority. I can't remember the last time I heard anyone speak with a southern accent, unless it’s spanglish. – Ola Y'all Hope this helps.

So you mean that south Davie, Sunshine Ranches and Southwest Ranches is pretty much Southwest Ranches because they overlap? OK So is there an area or town where I could be located near the city (Dania more specifically,) yet still feel like I'm in the south??

Davie is one of the few areas in South Florida where you'll actually see confederate flags. However I hear Davie still has old time crackers living there, but the ones that have lived in Palm Beach County moved to counties north. I wonder why it hasn't happened totally yet with Davie, people here still look at it as a "redneck" area.
