I can't remember ever having so many rainy days in a row, not like summer where it's a nice day and we get a quick rain, but a day where we have a whole week of cloudy ugly rainy weather

I find the rain a nice break from the heat, and besides, the grass and plants looks much healthier now. I will take rain over hurricanes anytime.

Oh it's still hot and extra humid, it's in the mid 70s to around 80.

and we don't get hurricanes in December.

I am sorry if my post upset you, I try to always see the good in things rather than dwell on the bad, also I am retired, so if you are out working daily and even worse if your job requires you to be outside, then I too would be upset with so much rain.

Nope not upset about the post, Actually this morning the sun is fighting to get out between the clouds and it's dry outside so the dogs are happy.

the grass and the plants are under 8 inches of water. How do they look better?

Hadn't realized the grass and plants were struggling for water.

I agree. I planted some fruit trees this spring and summer and they could die now because of all the rain and cloudy days. These plants should be resting now until March, not struggling to survive in a flooded or soggy soil. Furthermore, now I have to apply some copper fungicide to to keep them healthy.
