Live in Weston but not happy with Publix selection. Occasionally, we drive to Penn Dutch in Margate for fish but a little too far for grocery.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced meat/fish market in west Broward?

You know there is Penn Dutch on I-95 just south of Griffin? Closer than Margate.

Also there is Martinez Meats in Miramar, some of my coworkers rave about it

Martinez Meat Distributors

Costco or BJs too. We buy all our meats at Costco, they are much better, and cheaper, than Publix.

Never been there, but I've heard good things about Delaware Chicken Farm on 441 in Hollywood. Despite its name, it carries all types of seafood and meats, not just chicken. It's not exactly right next door to you, but it's probably closer and more convenient than driving to Margate.

I remember buying chicken at penn dutch many years ago. It was awful. Full over water and what not. You get what you pay for. Granted, Penn Dutch might be better nowadays, I wouldn't know.

If you catch the sales, Fresh Market on Flamingo isn't too bad. Certainly not inexpensive, but at least it's pretty good quality.

We used to go to Doris, but the last few orders we have gotten just weren't that good.

I've never gotten anything but chicken and turkey at Delaware, but the prices there are pretty good and I have never had an issue with the quality. (Although I will admit it isn't the prettiest place in the world)

I'll echo another person who mentioned Costco. They really do have great meat products and low prices to boot. Very well known for it.
