Default Cooper City Rated one of 10 BEST Towns for Families!

For those of you moving to South Florida .....you probably haven't heard of Cooper City. It's a small community. DON'T confuse it with Carol City which is the pits! Cooper City was rated one of the 10 BEST towns for Families by Family Circle magazine.

You can walk any of the streets at night without fear.

Cooper City is an easy commute to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach County. Excellent Sports Programs, lots of neighborhood parks, and surrounded by excellent county parks with loads of open space that offer alot of picnic areas, bike trails, playgrounds etc. Each has its own special feature too.. ...
Brian Piccolo Park - even has a velodrome (for bicycling)
TY Park - horseback riding! ...tree house!
CB Smith Park, Waterslides, and beach!

All the schools in Cooper City are A rated.

If you want to get away from the kids for a nite on the town.....It's a 10 minute drive to the newest "hottest" entertainment venue in all of South Florida....the Hard Rock Casino, which besides gaming offers nite clubs, comedy club, restraunts, and lots of guest performers such as Jay Leno, Guest Bands, Comedians, etc. In fact the Hard Rock has pulled alot of revenue from Fort Lauderdale Beach and South Beach.

Cooper City -- COOPER CITY - ONE OF TEN BEST TOWNS FOR FAMILIES!

geeez...this sounds like a commercial for Cooper City! But seriously check it out! I wish somebody would have told me about Cooper City when I first moved to South Florida! It would have saved us alot of time, stress and money!

I recommend Cooper City all the time. It's a pretty decent place. I would honestly rather raise kids there than Weston or any other community in Florida south of I-4, or a lot of places...guess all of South FL is the pits...
Although this post looks spammy...

I agree. Cooper City is a great place to live in S. FL. I lived on the dividing line between there & Pembroke Pines for 28 years. It has great proximity to everything you could want to be near without dealing with traffic. Schools are good, and there a lots of families with children.

personally i think southwest ranches is too "country" for me, which is fine if you like horses and dirt.. davie is a little better, the westside of davie being more "country/cowboy" and the eastside of davie (davie road, around nova schools) being more "city" due to it bordering lauderdale.. cooper city is about between the two, specifically the areas around griffin and flamingo.

The schools are also quite a bit better as far as public goes but Coral Springs has way more to do in the way of dining and activities for kids and adults.
