Hi all!
So I recently thought I was going to move to the West Palm Beach area but it looks like I need to live in Fort Lauderdale for my job. I can technically live in Fort Lauderdale and up to 25 miles north.. I would like to live in Fort Lauderdale though (I think) and am wondering what areas young professionals live? I am mid-20's and would like to be within walking distance to shops / restaurants or just a short drive away. If there are any nice areas within 25 miles north I would be open to looking there too! I would like to keep my rent around $1500 although I know Fort Lauderdale is more on the pricey side. Thanks!

There are plenty of condos in downtown for your budget - most of them are 1BR but there are a few 2BR that could be worth to look at, like this one --> 601 SE 5th Ct Unit 101. Fort Lauderdale 33301.

You can look to see what is available in your price range on Realtor.com, it seems there are quite a few in the Las Olas zip code.

Another area you might wish to look at might be Sunrise Blvd down near Galleria Mall, there are some in your price range on Realtor.com but I am not sure how close to the mall they might be, you can Google the addresses to get a general idea where they are.

Congrats on your move Jav4491! I am a young professional in my late 20s and relocated to this area a year ago, I currently reside in the Downtown/Las Olas area, this is where you will find the majority of young professionals, as well as Flagler Village which is also within proximity to Las Olas. Please feel free to message me! It would be my pleasure to assist!
