These pics make me feel all nostalgic, and I didn't even live in FL before 2000... Didn't even live in this country before 1990... Had no idea what Motley Crue were singing about!

Thanks for posting that. I remember some of those places. When my daughter was young we would eat at Lum's every Tuesday night before girl scouts.

I remember a lot of those, how about Harris Imperial House in Pompano, I wonder why it did not make the cut.

Big sigh about the loss of Burt & Jack's--great steaks and the view was incredible. They were a victim of 9/11; after the attack, police security was stationed at the entrance to the Port.

Who liked the idea of going out to eat and having to present your drivers license to the police and being questioned? My husband and I only went a couple of times after 9/11 and then we had had enough. Sounds kinda sentimental to say it, but in retrospect, times were far more innocent.
