Elderly parents relocation to Pembroke pines, century village. Which companies provide land line besides ATT? No voip please. Also, internet?

Is there such a thing as a relocation packet? I looked on chamber of commerce website, nothing...

Good luck, from friends who recently in the last few years got AT&T, the phone AT&T installed was VOIP.

I believe your choices will be Comcast or AT&T and both nowadays use VOIP, so even if you go with AT&T, be sure to ask them if it will be VOIP or hardwired, I think you most likely will find it will be VOIP unless you demand hardwired.

I have Comcast fast access and have been using a Magic Jack VOIP for many years now with a UPS backup for my modem, router and Magic Jack and it has never gone out except when my fast access also went out and has been seamless while using cordless phones all over our condo, I figure that I have saved many thousands of dollars over the years, you might wish to rethink VOIP as long as your parents also have a cellphone as a backup and that can be a prepaid at 1000 minutes for $100 for the year with AT&T or T-Mobile, again big savings.

I have a package deal with Comcast: Cable, land line and internet. I don't think it's VoIP either, my land line was installed Summer 2013. But perhaps they've changed their policy since then. Good point by Mr. Lee about hardwired vs VoIP.
