The Sun Sentinel Newspaper, which serves Fort Lauderdale, recently
reported that people are recycling less in Broward County than the last time statistics were taken.

Since recycling creates jobs right here in South Florida at recycling facilities, you have to wonder why more people are throwing things in the trash (along with throwing things on our roadways from what I can see being out there daily on my bicycle), when recycling creates jobs locally, plus keeps down property taxes as less tax money needs to be spent to create landfills to hold the trash people throw away in the Fort Lauderdale area.
