Does anyone have info on the Coconut Creek subdivision San Mellina? I did a search on the forums and nothing came up. Any comments +\- would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Coconut Creek is a great overall city. San Mellina is a newer community located on the best area of Coconut Creek. On top of it's a very private gated community with only 45 homes.
I have been house hunting in Coconut Creek with my clients and the whole city (including the old areas) feels safe and looks amazing. Also, the schools in Coconut Creek at top rated.

Other than assuming that I'm here to make a sale, can you please tell forum member why "ummm no way Jose" for you?

My son will be going to a private school so School ratings aren't an issue. Thanks for the info Alex!

San Mellina is at the base of the trash dump. I would have some concerns over ground water contamination, and all of us that are Coconut Creek residents know that there are multiple seasons per year that the smell is insufferable.

Friends of ours bought in there a number of years ago, they wouldn't make the same choice again.

If you want to stay in Creek I would move a little farther west and or north.
