I have a 1500 sq foot home with 3 patio doors and about 4 windows.
Anyone with a similar size home who can tell me what they paid ?

My friend put them in his beach front condo and it really cut down on
all noise and also his electric bill went down. In addition to not having to
have accordian shutters anymore (he could never put them on the windows
anyway per condo design).
Thanks everyone

patio doors are the expensive part...about 800-1,000 each.

With that being said, I only have one patio door........I got rid of the old junk slider and put in french impact doors. I have 8 windows. Total cost was 9K. The company I used, Stormwise shutters were horrible and mismeasured everything. Read my seperate post about them on another thread I made. After I had them installed, I contact another company which I heard nothing but good things about and their quote was actually 1k less. Message me and I will relay the companies name to you.

You don't mind mentioning the name of the bad company but you won't publicly say who the good company is ??

Just put in a patio door, and a three window unit in a condo in Ft Lauderdale. The door was $2000, the windows were also $2000. That included removing the old door, windows, and storm shutters.

I used Florida Windows and Doors.

I agree with Seaduced....I think Heydade should mention the company that saved her 1K and give them business as a thank you for the excellent job they did for her. I'm telling, I don't understand people!

Not quite. But it is expensive. The good thing is that impact windows will reduce your home insurance bill significantly.

My neighbor had impacts put in his 3/2 (all windows and doors, except for two sliding patio doors in the back), and said it was around $8,000.00.
