I'm 21 years old and am looking to get into a trade as soon as possible, and hope to get paid while I'm in training as an apprentice. I just moved down here from a NE state.

I can't figure out what's the best to get into/the easiest to start with. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I have zero experience with the trades, but heard there are no unions running down here. thanks

A/C, plumbing and electric are always in demand. Since it is Florida, pools/landscaping are also year round as well as anything with boats/yachts. Heck in S. Florida isn't bartending a trade!

Yup, those are all your best bet, especially HVAC and Plumbing, will always be in demand. I would also add in roofing or just get into general construction.

You'll be most successful if you pick something that not only interests you but is in a working condition that you can deal.
Some people aren't cut out to be a roofer or in construction and stand in the heat/sun day in and day out.

Welding is a great skill and can apply to many uses.
