Hello,
Can someone please tell us which of the following is the best community for renting in Weston?

- Weston Place
- St. Andrews
- San Michelle
- Fair Lakes

All 4 have very poor ratings. And there doesn't seem to be many options in Weston. We've also heard that some of these complexes accept section 8. Anyone have experience with any of these communities? Or have any recommendations for town home communities in Weston?

I used to live in Weston & my housekeeper lived in Fair Lakes with her family & liked it a lot. She really hoped to find something she could afford to buy in Weston but had no luck.

if you can afford to rent a townhouse from a private owner, then go that route - it shouldn't be much of a difference in price anyway. Renting communities will always have issues and those you're mentioning are no exception. I had a client who moved from San Michelle to Emerald Courts (a townhouse community) and she's very happy with the move. I'd highly recommend you Emerald Courts (I lived there when I moved from Virginia after doing my research.) Also "Courtyard by The Grove" is an excellent community near Cypress Bay HS and Falcon Cove MS.

Courtyard Homes at the Grove is indeed very nice. The townhouses there are similar to the ones you will find at San Sebastian, San Simeon, San Mateo, etc, but the are somewhat bigger, and have a nice covered patio.

We rented there for 6 years and liked it a lot.

Being able to walk to middle school or high school was also a nice perk.

Yep, definitely. Those managed communities nearly always have some issues, regardless of location/reputation/etc. Not to mention sizing and the privacy of a townhouse compared to an apartment.
