I am a sushi expert in Miramar/Pines. Stay away from Pines...too crowded. I highly recommend the brand new suhi Nami that is located on 12701 Miramar Parkway (just west of flamingo on the north side) VERY good and really nice, brand new place.

There is another good sushi place in the shops of Sunset Lakes (186 ave and Miramar Parkway)

Benihana in Miramar right off Dykes and Miramar PKY has decent sushi..but I still prefer the above forementioned places more.

Also good is a sushi/Thai Restaurant running parallel to Dykes next to EL FOGON and Stone cold creamery. Forgot the name...but excellent as well.

enjoy !

Nice enough - there's an all-you-can-eat sushi place - $13.95 (maybe $14.95 now) on the east side of University, north of Griffin/south of 595 in the Pier One shopping center - sorry I can't give you a name, we just refer to it as the "all-you-can-eat place". It's certainly not top-notch, but their fish of the day (every day for the last 4 years that I'm aware of) - a white fish which I believe is Kite, is really very good. There was a scandal down here in the 90s when sushi places were selling Kite as Hamachi - went on for years before anyone knew the difference.

Wasabi Japanese. It is right on Dykes Rd and Pines Blvd, where the Costco is. Very good quality and variety. Have not been disappointed.

I just saw they're opening a "Ra" in the new pembroke gardens shops. They're a great chain out in California...real good sushi there....just answered my own question when I ran across this place

One of my best friends loves Sushi and she lives in Cooper City. She frequents Sushi So Go on Palm and Stirling. Says its one of the best.
