I signed an agreement to enter into a lease for a condo without the landlord or realtor providing me a copy of the condo board rules. At the meeting with the condo board I found that the rules were such that I would not have been interested in renting if I had been aware of them. Is the landlord remiss in not making me aware of these rules and keeping my deposit?

wouldn't they be in the contract you signed? If not how would you have agreed to them in the first place?

Did you not go to meet with the board along with your landlord prior to renting the condo ? If not I'm surprised as most condo's require it especially if there is an association
