Filming a movie in Hollywood
No, not Hollywood, CA, our Hollywood. My friend over there says theres huge movie cameras and extravagant lighting there today around Young's Circle, but has no clue what's going on. Anyone know what they are filming???

My educated guess is Marley and Me, a movie slated for December release starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. It's based on a book by a former Sun-Sentinel columnist, and there was a 1A Sun-Sentinel story a while back about how film crews took over the newsroom for a week. They also were filming scenes at a Marlins game last week.

yeah Marley and Me...they have been filming for the past month or so now. My brother in law was an extra in a beach scene on hollywood beach. He is excited..I can imagine.

Buddy of mine got a picture with Jennifer Aniston a few weeks ago. She chartered a yacht that his brother was the captain of. Pretty cool!!

I work nearby and our building got the announcement. It was a TV show (I forgot the name) about some ex-CIA spy. I actually saw the actor close up, but didn't recognize him. In fact, I even forgot his name.
I know that Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston and some other famous actor (can't recall who - but do recall that we was spotted in Hooters) was in town a few weeks ago shooting something, but I think they are gone now.... |
