Default info on Colonnade Sawgrass

I am looking for reviews on this apartment complex. Is it safe and is it gated? Honesty is important to me, as I am moving to the area new and I am under 25 and concerned!
Thanks

I used to work that area as a LEO in Sunrise. Very low crime in that development and several police officers reside there. It is gated 24/7 and is kept really clean! You will enjoy it there. Rest easy.

It went condo, but it's still not bad. I was in there a few weeks ago and all of the common areas looked good, most of the people outside weren't scary looking or anything and the gate was working. However I still would be hesitant to rent in a condo conversion complex because a lot of them are owned by questionable landlords, especially landlords who avoid paying HOA dues.
