I will be relocating to Fort Lauderdale the first week of July 2008. I would like to find employment, I like to work and don't care to sit around in retirement. I have a Master of Science degree in counseling and human development. I worked for 12 years for Lakeview Center, Inc. Pensacola area. I was a mental health/substance abuse assessor, but I also did adult case management. Prior to that I served 24 years in the United States Navy and Army. I was a facility and program manager. I am very good at dealing with people and situations. I do well in dealing with critical or crisis situations because I have a calm and trusting demeanor.

FELogan - I know your services are needed in this area. You should try going to some of the job sites such as monster, etc. and submit your resume. Also, see when the next job fairs are being held - no they are not just for the young new graduates anymore. My sister-in-law, who is close to 50, went to a job fair a month ago and got a job as a researcher at Jackson Memorial. Good luck to you.
