I noticed that the bank of choice in the Lauderdale area is Bank of America (seems they have the most banks).
What ATM is most used down there (say in the Publix, the airports, etc). For instance here in DC, Chevy Chase Bank is everywhere, in every Giant supermarket, in all the airports and even the metro rail now. So having a chevy chase card saves you all those extra atm fees. While relocating, I'm wondering if I should go ahead and open a BofA account here in DC before I get there. Well if someone could answer my question about what ATM is in the publix that would be a start. thanks. |

You would be better off with a credit union, than a bank, especially bank of america. There fees are exorbitant. You should look into Eastern Financial Credit Union. They don't charge a fee for ATM withdrawals at Publix either.
