Default Broward Communities

I went to look at Parkland golf & country club over the weekend and loved their facilities e.g., Tennis, kiddie playground and daycare, 'good' gym, lots of fitness classes and great pool areas. Of course this comes at an HOA premium of 650 per month. Does anyone know of any other communities in 'Western Broward' with 'similar' facilities? I would be looking for homes in the 700k range.
The other reason I went to look in Parkland was for it's quality public schools. So obviously schools are important too. Therefore I would also consider areas around American Heritage or North Broward Prep.
I currently live in the Hallandale area but I am not yet that familiar with the 'Western Suburbs'
TIA

Do you want to buy or rent? Did you look at Heron Bay? There is another community just north of Parkland G&CC, called Bella Flor. I think the HOA is less - a lot of those residents use the club facilities for a lower fee. Those homes are in that $700 price range. If you don't need the golf course, you may want to look at a slightly older community down Holmberg Road - Cypresshead. It's gated and has pool w/ tennis courts. Bigger houses and lots for the money. There is one that just sold for about $700K. Good luck!

in Weston you could look at any community and then join Weston Hills Country Club. HOA is lower, but does not include country club fees. Public schools in Weston are on par with Parkland. Weston is not large and it is not a long ride from any development to Weston Hills.

In the $700K range you could look at Weston Hills Country Club, Savanna, The Landings, Palm Island, The Ridges, The Meadows.
