Ikea is at 136th Ave, immediately north of 595. If you are coming from 75 or Sawgrass you would get off at Sunrise Blvd and then make a right at 136th. As far as big lots, IMO you can do better at a clearance sale at Target or Wal-Fart.

Definitely, Ikea - best thing that has happened to Broward since the arrival of Target, imo!

i just moved from fl to nc about 2 yrs ago. two different worlds. everything in florida is going to seem expensive in comparison. stay out of the malls- no deals there. the indoor flea market @sample rd and turnpike is better than swap shop although smaller in size. most vendors are there on a semi-permanent basis. yard/garage sales do happen often- check local papers for ads. there are guys driving around selling cases of meat- bacon wrapped filets, steak, burgers, etc. use your own judgement when buying from these guys, and check licences. good luck and by the way, end of summers coming, watch the weather channel tropical update, and keep your head down. good luck!

How many rude people have you seen yet today? Don't you just want to go back where the weather is great, crime is low and everyone speaks English?

I kid, I kid...
