$2400/mo. gross is about $1900 net. $1070 rent + 100 elec.+ 60 cable+ 80 cell = $1310.
Leaves $590 +/- a mo. for food, entertainment, misc. and so on. Not much. $125/wk. You may be paying too much to sleep.

lauderdale.. you sound quite naive.. I think you need a wakeup call, if you plan to move here on your current plan you are going to hate life. What's the point in moving to southern florida to be angry every day?

If I were you I'd learn how to "hustle". You can make more than 350 bucks a week working for yourself. You can clean pools, mow lawns, clean houses, run errands for the elderly and lots of other jobs and earn at least double $350 a week.
Go to really nice upscale neighborhoods and leave flyers advertising your services where you can.

I applied at a brand new Olive Garden...there were 125 applicants for the door greeter! The parking lot was packed for the 4 days that they were accepting applications.
