Default Tri-rail/Metrorail combo commute from FLL to Miami

I'm interested in hearing from anyone that's currently commuting from Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood to Miami on the Tri-Rail/Metrorail connection. I'm considering a job move within walking distance of the Metrotrail civic center station. I'd have to take the Trirail to the Metrorail transfer and to the civic center stop. I tried it on a Saturday and it was about an hour commute. It was pleasant and uncrowded with only one non-violent(but drunk) derelict disturbing people.

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's a regular commuter on the trirail and metro rail about their experience.

Thanks,
rjw

Thanks for the feedback. My work commute now is really good (~20mi each way opposite of traffic) and believe me I'm grateful. But the idea of sitting and reading, listening to music, or blackberrying while traveling to work sounds really good.

i am from Brooklyn and I assure you. Sitting back on a train, not having to worried about some scum bag on a cell phone about to run you off the road is just the best. I love mass transit!
