We are coming to Florida for the winter - from nov - aprill. We come from Scandinavia and home language is not english. Renting a house in Fort Lauderdale area. We have 2 kids. One is 7 and other 2. Are there any good places for kids to learn english language, international daycares or smth. It could be some elementary school also. Thank you.

Private schools are unlikely to accept a child for a portion of the year, and by now the good ones are probably full. You can try the public schools and you will have to accept that of the area where you rent, which is......? As for the little one, many day cares are available, but I doubt there is any good quality one for such a young age. Day cares in FL have nothing to do the quality we are used to in Europe. No international schools that I have heard about. I recommend you join a mom's club and take our little one there. Also, Broward County runs some mommy-and-groups: you may look into the web site.
