Question Food Co-ops in Ft. Lauderdale Area??

Does anyone know of any local farmers' markets or food co-ops in the area? I am sick of buying crappy foreign produce at Publix, and Whole Foods is usually too expensive. Food prices are insane in SoFla, and I would prefer to buy fresh, organic, locally grown foods. Is that too much to ask? Any help is appreciated!

Do you have a green thumb? Come grow your own organic veg. I live on 2 acres in West Broward. I am in the middle of leasing small portions for a co-op. Give us a call...

Default Yes, good food in Broward

Check out The Urban Farmer in Pompano Beach. I am a member of their CSA program, and I love the food.

I have a friend who gets deliveries from Ms V's Organics, which is an organic produce delivery service. I would do this too, but I think it's too much produce for me (and often it's just me eating it, as SO travels a lot).
