I would like to suggest Lauderdale by the Sea, we are right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. We are a five minute coastal drive to the Fort Lauderdale nightlife. Ocean Boulevard is a beautiful sceneic drive to Fort Lauderdale (south) or a 15 min. drive (north) to Boca Raton...Right over the intracoastal bridge(s) offers much to do from fine restaurants to clubs. You can walk to the beach, resturants, and shops from just about any street in Lauderdale by the Sea. We have scooters available to rent for some fun transportation, as well as wave runners, boats, parasailing etc. We have fine ocean front restaurants right here in our town, there are non on Fort Lauderdale's beaches.
