Coral Springs, Florida
Hi everybody,
Me and my husband are thinking to move from NYC to Florida. We are expecting baby and we would love some nice kids friendly neighborhood, safe and that have good schools. We heard that Coral Springs is nice.
Please if you have any suggestion and know something about Coral Springs would be helpful, or suggestion for any other nice area?
Also what areas we should avoid?
Thank you so much

Coral Springs is nice. Also look into Parkland (just to the north of Coral Springs), Weston, and Pembroke Pines.

Assuming you are looking in Broward from your posting. I just bought a beautiful home in west miramar, however, if I had school aged children, I would look in Parkland and Coral Springs as the previous poster suggested, especially Parkland. I would avoid anything east of I 75. You didn't mention where you will be working. People here complain about traffic (I'm from NYC and DC and believe me, there is little "traffic" in comparison). However, being from NYC, please note that there is no such thing as public transportation per se.

Thank you so much. We were thinking to try to rent for some time and then check on area and buy our own house or apartment.
Do you have any suggestion for rental, some nice building or etc.
Thank you :-)

If you're looking to rent first, I would recommend Promenade at Wyndham Lakes. It's a nice apartment/townhome complex and it's in the best school zone in coral springs, at least in my opinion. It's on the corner of Westview and Coral Ridge Drive, which is NW section of Coral Springs... borderline Parkland.
