Yeah, interesting system...I'm picking up on an east-west connection too, but I agree the shade of yellow needs some improvement.

I guess the south side could be considered "average" but not bad by any means. The north side is good.

Where did everyone go? I remember growing up in FL and people stayed in the same place. Now everyone is moving away, so I would say, that many places in Broward Co and the rest of S FL (with a few exceptions) are not what they used to be. I know it doesnt seem like the place I grew up in anymore, and so many people have left S FL.

Crime and observation. That's pretty much it. Never claimed it to be factual or scientific.

I only asked because, for me to agree or disagree with your rankings I have to know what criteria was used and then decide if I agree with the rankings based on that criteria. What do you mean by "observation" exactly?

haha...I live in the red area of Davie.

I really like the visual presentation though. And, it does improve on the generic and unfair west of University rule, which I am noticing is morphing into a west of 75 rule. This just discourages socioeconomic diversity, which I personally enjoy coming from a big city. If it were based on something hard and fast like stats, it could be a very valid measurement, but I see no potential for it to illustrate North-South variations.

It has some pretty interesting potential. I mean you could have a website that did this and presented it in 3-D to allow for all kinds of measures and more accurate representation of different areas within an area (like say, an area within Weston that had a high number of car break-ins would show red under this neighborhood in this particular category). It would offer an easy to interpret visual interpretation of stats that could be as involved or as simple as the user would like to make it.
