stick to the basic format as one person already said.. The Really Good Neighborhoods are near i-75... if you keep going east, the closer you get to university.. the more sketchy it gets.. then East of A1A is good.. you cant go wrong with this format!

Lors of Canadians frequent Hollywood - the downtown area is active & there's some new building built near Young Circle -or I'd try to stay east of US 1 or try the beach but the buildings are older. Town is halfway between Ft. Lauderdale & Miami activity.

The western half of Miramar is (IMO) a couple notches nicer than Pembroke Pines (honestly Coral Springs too), and the east side isn't as bad as eastern Sunrise or Plantation. I would acutally vouch to say that only Parkland, Weston, west Davie and Cooper City are any better all around. The worst aspect of Miramar is some spillover crime from Miami Gardens in the nicer communities between University Dr and Red Rd, and a couple of shady apartments by State Road 7 and Pembroke Rd.
