We will be back, but not until the kids are out of school. And, not to So. FL where we moved from. We are looking for something further north along the Gulf Coast. We do miss the weather and the beach.

A person from my office moved back to Miami from Atlanta, GA, after several years of living there. I haven't asked her what she thought about Atlanta, but I know she is very happy to be back. She is also a true Miami native.

No offense, but why would anyone move to NC and then want to return to S FL? That's definitely not the norm, believe me. Are they hispanic?

And she is probably Cuban I'd imagine, right? Now that I could see, a Cuban moving to NC and then moving back to Miami, but not Caucasian.

Not Cuban. African American actually.
As for Charlotte, I would not say it is the paradise everyone makes it out to be. Nice people for sure, but quite boring. I wouldn't live there if you paid me. And yes, I'm caucasian.

Pooring, before I jump to conclusions please explain what your issue is with hispanics. Have you had some bad things happen to you or around you that makes you think this way. This is just me reading through the lines - am I understanding this correctly?

Ok 1st off im white and jewish, and looking to move to West Boca, 2ndly Im from brooklyn NY, moved to NC from NJ, 3rdly the people I know that want to go back are friends of my son's and and a few that my daughter are friendly with, obviously everyone seems to think there is such a thing as Utopia, News flash, every state has its problems, we didnt leave NJ for purely financial reasons it was a personal choice, as well as needing a change for us and our children, I happen to have freinds in Weston, and family in Hillsboro Beach oh and the people that I know are white as well, which shouldnt matter what they are, because beilieve it or not NC as beautiful as it, isnt for everyone...
