Don't forget the parks! They are just gorgeous. My son plays WALL so my daughter can safely scooter around the park for an hour while I watch my son's game. The playground equipment is nice and safe for my 3 year old. We can't decide which park is our favorite- they are all beautiful and lush.

I visited weston a few months ago, i saw this thread, thought id post some pics. i like the canal concept, but it will be interesting to see what the homes will be worth when the market settles. i did find some lower priced homes off SW 159th and blatt st, but very small lots. Oh and never leave bags or valuables in plain sight anywhere, no matter how safe you feel, thats asking for a break in.

Weston is certainly the place to live. It's basically an Oasis "West" of Fort Lauderdale that was built up for everyone with money to get away from the growing crime in central fort lauderdale area.

Even Dan Marino lives in Weston.

The location is near perfect as it's right next to the major highway interchange which has Alligator Alley to drive to the west coast of Fl (only about an hour away) as well as 595 to get to everything in Broward including 95/Turnpike as well as 75 south for Miami.

You can't go wrong moving to Weston.

Ouch - I have to get used to the longer commute - when you say an hour to someone who is on the train for 30 minutes - it sounds like a life time.

No fauve, I'm working in Miami, but in case things don't work out, it is likely that I would find work in Miami. Just trying to stay ahead of the game. I look for things to work out and not have to make the drive into Manhattan, I mean Miami. My job is located in Dania Beach and after finding out what some people pay for family coverage in some of the firms, I am loving my job even more LOL.

Dan Marino lived (past tense) in Weston. He now lives in Parkland.
