I tend to agree. I remember the last time I was in Miami, I freaking got lost! I couldnt find anyone that was willing to help me, and when I would ask someone, they didnt even respond or seem to understand what I was asking. I really felt like I was miles away from an resemblance of an American city. It was awful!

I can see that Florida education has paid off for you. I didn't see where you listed Tennessee as a state that wanted to secede and didn't ask what we had to offer. I like your attack method though.

Tennessee has alot of agriculture exports such as potatos, berries ( black and blue ), Apples, Peaches, Cherries, Chesnuts, and Pears among other things. Several Vineyards and Wineries throughout the state. There are several liquor companies in the state, most famous being Jack Daniels in Lynchburg, TN and George Dickle near Tullahoma, TN.

Lets see... Music of course, Obviously Nashville is known for country music but what many don't know is that outside of Los Angeles, Nashville has the 2nd largest amount of recording studios in the U.S., Nashville also has a large rock and rap scene as well. Memphis is, was, and always will be the home of the blues. Tennessee makes over 35 million dollars a year just off of the music industry alone which also includes blue grass music in East Tennessee.

Chattanooga is home to one of the largest snack cake industries in the U.S., McKee Foods whom owns Little Debbie, Moon Pies, and the cookie " Goo-goo clusters " as well as Sunbelt snacks. Chattanooga is also the home of R.C. Cola.

We have the traditional Tobacco and Cotton exports too.

Come to think of it...

We also have 3 nuclear power plants, 3 Military bases, Several bodies of water, 21 fortune 500 companies, Automakers Nissan, Saturn, and Volkswagon also have assembly plants here, Oh and 2 international airports so yeah, I think Tennessee seceding might actually be a good idea.

Tennesee is the most backwards state in the US? Are you serious? In what way? Please give me an example of what you can find in TN that you cant in the panhandle or rural FL? Rebel flags, KKK, people with no teeth?

What a poor statement. And you further that by saying states like South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi offer nothing to the US in the way of culture, and they are the most racist rednecks and they are "horrible" people? Speaking of racist rednecks, ever heard of Ft Myers, Ft Pierce, Bithlo, and I could go on and on naming rural, "racist" areas throughout FL. Give me a break.

What does South FL offer the US besides good laughs?

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center who monitors hate groups around the U.S...

SPLCenter.org: Hate Groups Map

Florida has more hate groups (56) then any other Southern state.

That is, unless you consider Texas a Southern state, They have 66.

I agree, TNRyan. I'm certainly not an advocate of hate groups or being racist, but as a Florida native too, I definitely know FL pretty well. And racism and hate groups are alive and well, just like the ones one may find in Mississippi and southern Georgia.

You know, Not to get too off topic but I've done some work in Mississippi before usually staying there for a few months at a time, The state really gets alot of bad rep and talks from the past but they're really no different from any other southern states in reguards to race and racism, Keep in mind, Mississippi has the largest percentage of black residents in the U.S. at nearly 40% of the states population.

You are a class act ... it shows on your post . No not a Miami resident I live in Parkland ... which is a lot nicer than the trailer park you probably live in . You are probably a miserable loser who is not happy anywhere .. you have made South Florida a better place by leaving ... thank you .
